Niepe were engaged by BMD Urban to construct 200 lineal m of formed concrete retaining walls ranging from 2 to 4m high. Included were sections of feature wall panel, with a random, patterned finish. The project also included construction of a concrete weir.
Involved in construction of various structures throughout the Busway corridor including the twelve span viaduct substructure and superstructure, parapets, retaining walls, arrival structures, Area 3 cut & cover tunnel concrete works, hard landscaping, RC retaining walls and installation of anti-throw screens and noisewall panels.

Gold Coast University Hospital Station Early Works
(August 2010 – March 2011)
Involved in the construction of various structures throughout the project including capping beams, retaining walls, post tensioned beams, reinforced concrete beams, deck slabs and pavement works. Site challenges involve working in a congested, multi-disciplinary area with compressed programs and double shifts.
Niepe were involved in the construction of protective treatments and two kilometres of retaining walls along the Pacific Motorway and the Queensland Rail corridor.
Retaining walls were up to 2.9m high and were constructed using specifically designed segmental steel forms.
